Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Maria & Carlos, a lovely couple who are expecting their first baby- a son named Drew. My husband came along on the shoot, which was a first.. and we had a great time! He’s very helpful.

I’m looking forward to my most challenging portrait session ever- next weekend I’ll be photographing 150 members of a family, all at once! I’m sure it will be great, and I’ll learn a lot. This week I have a bit of preparation to do for this shoot.. and I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it here yet but we’re moving! My parents and us have purchased two homes on one property and we are very much looking forward to getting settled in our new homes. The great news? The property also has a large studio, so I will finally have my very own (respectable!) photo studio for my clients to come to.

Also, my great friend Maddie over at Better In Pink is working on a new website design for me, so once I’m settled in and have time I’ll be getting this site in shape- there will be a new look, logo, client galleries, shopping cart and I’ll finally take the time to add all of the stuff to my galleries that I’ve neglected to do so far.

Until then, I’m here- but I’m not! Lot’s of organizing and packing and work to do in the next few weeks will keep me from being a very good blogger. I love to blog, so look for lot’s of great stuff after we are situated! Thanks for stopping by!
